Some Do’s for the CKD patient
Do’s
Take your medicines regularly.
Go for periodic checkups and lab tests as advised by your doctor.
Follow your diet plan faithfully.
Do the permitted exercises and physical activities regularly.
Maintain a positive frame of mind. Negative thoughts can aggravate your condition.
Practice regular relaxation techniques like yoga, pranayama, etc.
Don’ts: Avoid the following 4D’s
Dehydration
: Avoid dehydration, especially in the summer months.
Dyes
: Avoid unnecessary CT scans, angiography, or other tests involving dyes.
Drugs
: Consult your physician before taking any new medications.
